The Compassionate Heart Holds the Flame

“It is the flaming heart of the Mother embodied in the friend, the loved one, the ministering one that provides that help when the individual himself must give all of his strength and energy, all of his drive to the making of the mark at that precise moment. And therefore, even Christ on the fourteen stations of the cross yet had the balance of his mother, there holding the flame of watchfulness, of encouragement, of beauty, of the divine memory of the end that is known from the beginning.”
- Lady Master Nada PoW Vol. 25, No. 62
What does it mean to be 'my brother's keeper'? In the Old Testament, Cain asked that question of God when God asked him 'where is your brother?' Most of us know that story and it had not ended well for Abel, Cain bore the karma of his actions.
In the new testament, we hear the story of the Good Samaritan, taking on the responsibility to seek healing for a stranger he had found, on the roadside, beaten by bandits.

To be our brother's keeper takes on many meanings across many scenarios. It can be a physical act or a spiritual one. In this teaching we look at how we might hold the balance for the lost and broken.
Please join me as we explore the scourge of our times and how we are able to help at inner levels, by holding The Flame for our brethren on earth.
